A Blooming Tradition
Lucky Finn’s 7th Annual Mother’s Day Floral Installation

Scituate Harbor will once again be bursting with blooms as the 7th Annual Mother’s Day Floral Installation returns to Lucky Finn Cafe. This cherished community tradition transforms the beloved coffee shop into a breathtaking floral masterpiece, featuring more than 3,000 flowers donated and installed by the talented team at Beach Plum Floral. Coordinated by Kate Murtaugh Events and Design, this event is more than just a visual spectacle; it is a heartfelt celebration of mothers, bringing together local businesses and families for a weekend of love and appreciation.
Visitors can enjoy “Mama & Me” portrait sessions from photographer Hilary Moore, pick up stunning bouquets and floral arrangements, and indulge in a specialty latte from Lucky Finn. Additionally, custom soy candles by Feather & Finn Co., adorned with illustrations by Pretty in Ink Shop will be available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds from floral sales, candles, and portraits will benefit the James P. Harrington Organization (JPH), a South Shore nonprofit dedicated to wellness, healing and transformation.
The flower installation will grace Lucky Finn’s exterior from May 9-12, with the actual Mother’s Day celebration taking place on May 10 from 9 a.m. until products sell out, and May 11 from 9 – 11 a.m. Whether stopping by for a cup of coffee or a keepsake portrait, guests can take part in a meaningful experience that gives back to the community while honoring the incredible mothers who make it all possible.
