Inside Daniel Webster Estate’s Christmas Designer Show House

The Daniel Webster Estate’s Christmas Designer Show House showcases the historic 1880 Victorian mansion in spectacular festive splendor. Each year, talented decorators come together to transform the Marshfield estate with creatively themed holiday decor. While some rooms are decorated in traditional Victorian fashion, others feature more whimsical themes.
The 2021 team of decorators included: Veranda/Entrance: Cindy Castro and David Welch; Foyer, Staircase and Upper Hall: Lara Brait; Parlor: Lynne Anne Habel-Murphy; Dining Room: Deb Dunphy and Jean Peck; Butler’s Pantry and Kitchen: Michele Campion, Stefani Shea, Meghan Stempel; Study: Sarah Guilfoyle; Hall Bath: Katelin Jenkins; Nursery: Robin Arouca; Daniel Webster’s Bedchamber: Chris Pendergast and Cheryl Strazdes; Caroline’s Dressing Room: Jacqui Madden; Caroline’s Bedroom: Beth Cook and Karrie Greene; Boudoir: Laura McLaughlin; Blue Toile Room: Laurie France; Museum and Back Hall: The Webster Decorators.
Visitors can get an early look at this year’s Christmas show house by attending the preview gala on Friday December 2 from
7 - 10 p.m. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, a selection of wine and beers and a champagne cocktail special (The Webster Poinsettia), meet the decorators and tour the mansion in all its Christmas finery. Tickets: $40/person. Reservations only. Please call Carol

The show house will officially kick off on Saturday December 3 and continues for nine days thru Sunday December 11. Tours are offered on weekdays, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., weekends from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., and evenings on December 8,9 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. General admission is $15; $10 for seniors.
