Winterfest

Community members are invited to celebrate the season inside and out with Friends of the Blue Hills and the Blue Hills Ski Area. Attendees can get some exercise on the slopes downhill skiing under the lights (thanks to discounted ski tickets for the event) and then warm up by the fire in the lodge while listening to spirited Irish tunes by the band Songs for Ceilidh. Toe-tapping is encouraged while enjoying the company of old and new friends!

Winterfest also celebrates a winter classic with the annual Blue Hills Chili Cook-Off, where event-goers will taste chili from some of the best local restaurants and get a chance to vote for this year’s winners. This year’s contestants are Northern Spy and Orchard Cove from Canton plus Fowler House and The Fours from Quincy.

Widowmaker Brewing from Braintree will be on hand selling select beers, and additional refreshments will be available at the snack bar. A special Blue Hills-themed craft table will be set up for the kids.
