For Hull resident Nikki Grifone, event planning wasn’t initially a career she set out to pursue—it was a passion she discovered by following her instinct to help others. While a student at Southern New Hampshire University, she organized a donation drive and fundraiser for a family who had lost their home in a fire. This single act of compassion revealed a talent for organization, creativity, and bringing people together–and it lit an entrepreneurial spark within her.

Nikki launched NMG Marketing and Events in July of 2022 and she quickly built a reputation for crafting meaningful and memorable weddings and special events. “Every detail should reflect my clients’ vision and purpose,” says Nikki. “I love adding personal touches that make an event truly one-of-a-kind.” She also offers wedding content creation services and digital marketing packages for small businesses.

Nikki’s professionalism, friendly personality and can-do attitude put her clients at ease and have helped earn her local recognition. In 2025, she received a Best of the South Shore (BOSS) Award for Best Balloon Decor and she was named a top five finalist for Best Wedding Planner—a remarkable achievement for such a young business. Beyond accolades, Nikki measures her success by her clients’ joy. “The most rewarding part of my job is seeing their reactions on event day.”
