Clink for Pink

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and New England’s only self-serve wine bar, Uva Wine Bar in Plymouth, is supporting the cause with a month-long “Clink for Pink” campaign to help raise funds for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital’s Plymouth Breast Center. The cause is near and dear to the hearts of Uva’s two owners, Michelle Manware and Katy Gaenicke. By day, Manware works as a physician assistant at BID-Plymouth Ob-Gyn & Midwifery and is proud to able to give back.

Throughout the month of October, Uva will donate a portion of proceeds from a selection of “Clink for Pink” wines. Last year, the wine bar raised $2,500 and they hope to beat that number this year. The wine bar was founded in 2019 and features state-of-the-art self-serve technology that makes wine tasting a particularly fun experience. Guests can sip their wine outside on the patio or inside the wine bar and feel good knowing their helping a great cause.
