The owner of Alluring Concepts, Alysha Siciliano, is paving the way for women in the home construction industry. A self-described “math geek” with a passion for design, Alysha has defied gender stereotypes to deliver exceptional results. As an elected member of the Pembroke Planning Board and Old Colony Planning Council, she’s also a dedicated advocate for her community. Alysha launched her design business in 2004, after completing her studies in art history and architectural design at Hofstra University and earning a master’s degree in interior design from the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University. She quickly fell in love with creating spaces that perfectly aligned with her clients’ unique visions. After years of advocating for her clients, Alysha grew frustrated with the challenges she faced as a woman in the construction industry - “I got tired of being “girled” by contractors,” says Alysha. She decided to expand her expertise by obtaining a Construction Supervisor License – Unrestricted. Recognizing the need for a more comprehensive approach, she now serves as both a contractor and interior designer, empowering herself to take control of projects from start to finish. Alysha and her team are capable of taking on projects of all sizes, from single-room renovations to extensive design-build projects. Alysha is also dedicated to inspiring the next generation of women in construction. She actively mentors young women pursuing careers in the trades and serves as a role model for those seeking to break down barriers in traditionally male-dominated fields. “I hope my story inspires young women to always believe in themselves.”
