An award-winning public relations professional with a passion for ìmaking brands famous,î Darlene Hollywood has never been a wallflower. The founder and principal of Hollywood Agency in Hingham, she started out as a performing arts major in college, but soon discovered that her extroverted personality lent itself perfectly to a career in public relations. In fact, her confidence and communication skills helped land her first job in the industry.  

ìI sent a press release out to the agency where I applied (that ultimately gave me my first PR job) announcing my hiring. It was creativity and luck,î says Darlene. She went on to launch her own company in 2005 and has since received numerous accolades, including the 2017 Diane Davis Beacon Award from Bostonís Public Relations Society of America and the 2023 John J. Molloy Crystal Bell for Lifetime Achievement from the PR Club.

At Hollywood Agency, Darlene leads a talented team of men and women who are committed to supporting and showcasing a variety of B2B and B2C clients. In addition to public relations, the company offers media relations, digital marketing and creative services.
