A Soulful Celebration: an evening with SSC’s Jazz/Rock/Pop Artists

South Shore Conservatory’s jazz/rock/pop artists take center stage as Evenings Under the Stars presents A Soulful Celebration. The concert opens with a performance by SSC saxophone student Jack Murphy, who was named Downbeat magazine’s Best Junior High Blues/Rock/Pop Soloist for 2025. Then audiences are invited to tap their toes to music from distinguished artists such as Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield, Burt Bacharach, Whitney Houston, and Martha Reeves and the Vandellas.
