Strolling Carolers, Fire Shows, Costumed Characters, Letter writing to Santa, free hot chocolate and popcorn, a holiday sing-a-long and performance by Lori Regan, Mark Carey and Shayna Micol from the popular “Dick n Jane” Band and more…Join Mayor Thomas Koch and a special guest from the North Pole as they flip the ceremonial switch to bring the holiday spirit to the Hancock-Adams Common.

The 69th Christmas Parade has been a tradition for Quincy families for many years. Floats, marching bands, and costumed characters fill Quincy streets, spreading
holiday joy to all. The parade route begins at the intersection of Hancock Street and Walter J. Hannon Parkway, continuing up Hancock Street to North Quincy High School

The City of Quincy honors our currently serving veterans in a tree lighting ceremony. Family & friends can sign the name of those who are currently serving on a yellow ribbon that will adorn the tree in the Generals Park.
