Sip n’ Craft for Bird Conservation
July 31 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free

The Art Complex Museum will host a free, hands-on community crafting workshop with Bird Collisions in the Anthropocene, a public art initiative dedicated to bird conservation.
Visitors will use fabric and other materials to decorate small, life-sized bird sculptures that will become part of a traveling art exhibit to raise awareness about bird building collisions—the leading cause of bird deaths in the United States.
Over 1 billion birds die in the United States every year after colliding with glass. This event will bring attention to the problem while sharing practical information and easy-to-use products that can help prevent bird collisions.
