Winterfest at North River

Celebrate the magic of winter at North River Wildlife Sanctuary with a full slate of indoor and outdoor family-friendly activities.

This special event features three hands-on sessions designed for fun and discovery. In each session, you can:

Meet live raptors from the Blue Hills Trailside Museum during an animal show
Help create a community art canvas
Join guided nature walks along the sanctuary’s trails
Warm up by the fire pit with s’mores
Explore interactive touch tables
Experience the trails after dark (late session only)

Before you head home, swing by the Nature Play Area and take a look at the exciting progress on North River’s All Persons Trail upgrades.
