DESCRIPTION:A free\, nonpartisan educational forum titled Affordable Housing 101 will be held Monday\, April 6\, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Scituate Town Library\, 85 Branch St.\, in the Community Room on the lower level . \nThe forum will focus on how affordable housing works\, how to qualify for various programs\, and what options are currently available in Scituate. A panel of local experts will provide an overview\, followed by a question-and-answer session and information on local resources. The in-person presentation will be recorded. Panelists will include representatives from Neighborworks Housing Solutions\, Scituate Housing Authority\, the Scituate Affordable Housing Trust\, and others.\nLight refreshments will be available beginning at 6 p.m. The event\, organized by the Scituate Democratic Town Committee\, is open to all residents of Scituate and surrounding communities.
