DESCRIPTION:Plymouth Center for the Arts (PCA)\, a historic gallery and venue for visual and performing arts in downtown Plymouth\, announces its 16th Annual Fine Art of Photography Juried Exhibition. The opening reception and awards ceremony will be held on Saturday\, April 25\, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Plymouth Center for the Arts\, 11 North Street\, Plymouth.  The exhibition will run from April 25 to May 31. \nLaunched in 2010\, the Fine Art of Photography exhibition is among PCA’s largest and most anticipated shows\, drawing submissions from photographers from this country and around the world.  This year\, submissions grew by 55%\, a testament to the show’s expanding popularity.  Selected artwork will be exhibited in the gallery for the duration of the show and all artwork will be available for purchase.\nIn addition to first\, second\, and honorable mention awards in both the Color and Black and White categories\, this year’s competition includes three specials awards: the Mulcahy Family Award for Best Black and White Street Photography; the Corben Family Award for Best Seascape; and the Kusmin Studio Award\, an open award for excellence.

DESCRIPTION:Online Garden Tour Ticket Sale begins May 2\nBack by popular demand\, The Community Garden Club of Duxbury is proud to announce its 2026 Duxbury Hydrangea Festival and Garden Tour. This year’s festival celebrates “Summer Styling” and features a garden tour of five beautiful seaside homes on Tuesday\, July 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Garden Tour will include tablescapes\, art\, music\, guided talks\, refreshments and more!  Online tickets to go on sale on May 2nd.\nOn Tuesday\, July 16th a “Summer Styling” hydrangea floral design presentation by Cornelia Reynolds\, owner of Consider the Lilies\, a flower shop in Duxbury\, will be offered at the Duxbury Free Library at 10:00 a.m. Cornelia will design a signature arrangement inspired by the coastal charm of its namesake\, ‘Duxbury Beach.’  Demonstration includes tablescapes\, refreshments and giveaways!
