DESCRIPTION:Break out your favorite Star Wars costume and head over to South Shore Conservatory as its Evenings Under the Stars concert series presents Star Wars Symphony: a celebration of John Williams on Saturday\, July 12\, 7 pm in the Carr Amphitheater\, One Conservatory Drive\, Hingham. Join conductor Nick Palmer and Plymouth Philharmonic musicians for a celestial celebration highlighting the music from Star Wars\, paired with iconic classical music\, such as Holst’s “Mars” from “The Planets”\, Strauss’ “Also Sprach Zarathustra\,” that influenced some of the most beloved melodies from the franchise. From the Mandalorian and Boba Fett to the Imperial March – there’s something for Star Wars fans of all ages! As an added treat\, SSC Youth Orchestra students play alongside Phil musicians for a piece from the Mandalorian.
