DESCRIPTION:Friends of Holly Hill Farm Presents 2nd Annual Holly Hill Hustle 5K and Kids’ 1.5 Mile Run\nAdults and children welcome to 2nd annual race to support non-profit organization’s ability to operate Cohasset’s only working farm  \nCohasset\, MA (August 25\, 2025) – Friends of Holly Hill Farms’ 2nd annual Holly Hill Hustle 5K returns for its second year\, welcoming families\, and runners of all ages on Sunday\, October 19\, 2025 (10:00 a.m. 5K race start). The morning 5K race consists of two scenic coastal loops starting and ending at Holly Hill Farm. New this year\, children ages 5 – 12 can elect to participate in its Kids’ 1.5 mile run loop (9:00-9:30 am start time\, details to be announced). Spectators and participants are welcome to check out Cohasset’s only working farm\, explore\, and visit with its barnyard animals.  \nRunners and sponsors will support the non-profit’s ability to operate the Certified Organic farm\, to grow healthy organic food for the community and food pantries\, provide environmental education to thousands of children and adults\, care for beloved barnyard animals and historic farm buildings\, and make its precious natural sanctuary available for all to explore and enjoy for free.  \nEarly registration discounts including a free race t-shirt will be available through September 19\, 2025. Founded in 2002\, the Friends of Holly Hill Farm is a 501c3 non-profit Certified Organic farm with an educational mission that serves thousands each year on the farm and in the greater South Shore Community. \nThe non-profit organization is committed to responsible and sustainable farming methods for growing vegetables\, herbs\, seedlings\, and flowers for the local communities\, including supporting people facing food insecurity. The organization’s Farm to Food Pantry program donates thousands of pounds of healthy food and flowers to seven local food pantries year-round\, and its farm stand provides food to participating families through the Holly Hill Farm SHARES program and proudly accepts SNAP payments.  \nFHHF has partnerships with over 40 schools from the South Shore to Boston\, and provides year-round on-the-farm educational programs for children – including three consecutive years as Best of the South Shore for its summer programs. Don’t miss this quintessential New England autumn experience.  \nNote: This is a harvest viewing tour only—you will not enter a flooded bog.  \nAll ages welcome; content is geared toward adults\, but guides are happy to engage younger guests.\nTours begin with check-in and school bus transport to the harvest location.\nRestrooms available only at the starting point.\nNo pets allowed.\nTicket includes 1 bag of fresh cranberries and a complimentary MA Cranberries t-shirt.\nTours are approximately 90 minutes depending on the distance from the meeting location to the bog.
