South Shore Habitat for Humanity (http://sshabitat.org), which has delivered affordable housing in partnership with families in need for the past 33 years, is now accepting registrations for their annual Ride for Habitat on Saturday, September 14, 2019 in Hingham, MA. Early registration is highly encouraged.
Now in its 13th year, the annual Ride for Habitat gives teams and individuals the opportunity to help build homes and change lives. Registrants for The Ride are asked to fundraise as part of the event. Past participants have collectively raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help build affordable homes for local families.
The Ride offers three routes for riders at all levels, with each route starting at 916 Main Street in Hingham. The 50-mile riders will begin at 7:30 am, followed by the 25-milers at 9:00 am, and the 15-milers at 10:00 am. The route is designed to take riders through some of the South Shore’s most scenic areas.

Crossing the threshold of a new home is a moment every family remembers and cherishes. Since 1986, South Shore Habitat for Humanity has helped 61 family partners realize that moment of joy and experience a lifetime of safe, healthy, affordable housing. The organization plans to build more homes south and southwest of Boston, and it needs support from its community to reach that goal.
Sponsorships for the Ride for Habitat are available. Financial and in-kind support is welcome to make The Ride a success. To become a sponsor, call Habitat’s Development Officer Joe Regan at 781-337-7744 x18.
