Jenifer Pinkham is a founding partner of the law firm Phifer Pinkham, LLC. Her areas of expertise include employment law, civil, business and probate litigation, probate administration, special education advocacy and appeals, and intellectual property law. She is also a frequent lecturer and speaker on various employment law topics.

Pinkham’s interest in the law was sparked at a young age, after witnessing a family member struggle with addiction. In college, she initially majored in criminal justice, but after interning at the women’s state prison and later the Massachusetts State House, she decided she wanted to become a lawyer. After receiving her law degree from Suffolk University Law School, Pinkham worked at larger firms for nearly 15 years before she and her business partner decided to forge their own path forward, establishing Phifer Pinkham in May of 2018.

The practice area that she finds most personally gratifying is employment law, as she enjoys providing invaluable advice and counseling to small and family owned businesses. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Pinkham has provided countless businesses with employment law advice on layoffs, furloughs, return-to-work issues and the new FFCRA (Families First Coronavirus Response Act).

Outside of work, Pinkham is most passionate about spending time with her family and supporting her son and daughter at various team sports events. She also gives back to the South Shore community by serving on several community boards, including the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and South Shore Stars.
