Grief Yoga – 4 Part Series Navigating Through Grief

Grief Yoga is a unique practice that combines movement and stillness to help individuals navigate through grief.
It views emotions as dynamic energy, using physical activity to alleviate pain and emotional struggle.
Central to this yoga is breathwork, which enhances mindfulness and connects practitioners to the present, fostering inner peace.
The practice acknowledges that unexpressed emotions can become trapped in the body, leading to physical manifestations like tension and stress.
Through a transformative journey of five stages – awareness, expression, connection, surrender, and evolution – Grief Yoga employs postures, movements, and sound to deepen the connection with the inner self, aiding in the journey towards peace and self-love.
It addresses a spectrum of emotions, including anger, guilt, and fear, and emphasizes treating the body with kindness and empathy during the healing process.
